Why Use the Visitor Center as a Starting Point
When working with prospective home buyers who are new to High Point, the High Point Visitor Center is a valuable first stop. It offers a welcoming way to introduce clients to the community and helps tell the story of why High Point is a great place to live, work, and belong.
Through curated displays, local insights, and knowledgeable staff, the Visitor Center provides an overview of High Point’s neighborhoods, history, attractions, and lifestyle. Realtors can also complement their own materials with a complimentary relocation packet, giving clients additional resources and local context as they consider their move.
Clients can explore High Point’s role as the Home Furnishings Capital of the WorldTM through the Home Furnishings and Design Guide, which highlights furniture stores and outlets throughout the region. An interactive kiosk helps narrow options by style and category, making it easier for new residents to envision their home in High Point.
The Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is available at no cost to you or your clients.
Why a Real Estate Family Certification Program?
When our out-of-town visitors tell us they are moving here or are thinking about moving here, we provide a Relocation Packet. Often, they ask us, “who is a good realtor?” In the past, all that we could do is provide a list of all of the REALTORS in our area. Since the implementation of the Certification Program and website highlighting why High Point is a great place to live, we can now provide visitors with resources, including listing of REALTORS® and Allied Professionals, who have successfully completed Visit High Point’s Real Estate Family Certification Program.
Here is how it works, if you are a member of the High Point Regional Association of REALTORS, spend a few hours with us learning how to use the Visitor Center as a tool when meeting with clients, and in the process you will learn about High Point and all that we have to offer. We’ll bring in city and agency leaders and provide a mini educational session on a topic that brings value to your role as a Realtor, all while making the experience fun and interesting.
That’s it! We’ll help you present High Point in the best light, and in exchange for attending our training session, we’ll add your name to our preferred list of REALTORS and Allied Professionals, all for the cost of $50 per individual members and $75 for nonmembers.
