WHY USE THE REGIONAL VISITORS CENTER AS A STARTING POINT?

There are a number of reasons why the 2,000 square-foot Regional Visitors Center should be your first stop when you are working with prospective home buyers that are new to High Point and considering moving here.

First, one of its 21 galleries provides an introduction to the greater High Point area with beautiful photography and copy. It is the perfect tool to help you convince people to move here by carefully telling the story of why High Point is a Great Place to Live. Here you can quickly present our community, history, activities, attractions and schools.

You also can introduce them to our Home Furnishings Gallery to help new homeowners furnish their homes by visiting our more than 50 retail furniture stores and outlets. The kiosks go one step further to identify the specific stores which carry the style and kind of furniture that they want and need. The Interior Design Services Gallery introduces a whole new buying experience in the Home Furnishings Capital of the World, putting furniture shoppers in contact with Interior Designers to access the showrooms open only to the trade.

The Regional Visitors Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and free of charge to you and to your clients.

WHY A real Estate Family Certification PROGRAM?

real estate group photoWhen our out-of-town visitors tell us they are moving here or are thinking about moving here, we provide a Relocation Packet. Often, they ask us, “who is a good realtor?” In the past, all that we could do is provide a list of all of the REALTORS in our area. Since the implementation of the Certification Program and website highlighting why High Point is a great place to live, we can now provide visitors with resources, including a brochure, featuring a listing of REALTORS® and Allied Professionals, who have successfully completed Visit High Point’s Real Estate Family Certification Program.

Here is how it works, if you are a member of the High Point Regional Association of REALTORS, spend a few hours with us learning how to use the Regional Visitors Center as a tool when meeting with clients, and in the process you will learn about High Point and all that we have to offer. We’ll bring in city and agency leaders to make it fun and interesting.

That’s it! We’ll help you present High Point in the best light, and in exchange for attending our training session, we’ll add your name to our list of REALTORS and Allied Professionals, all for the cost of $50 per individual.
