Greenway Trail

This multi-use friendly trail includes a combination of off-road asphalt and sidewalks. Find yourself weaving through residential neighborhoods, mixed forests of hardwoods and pine, parks, and natural routes. The High Point section of the Bicentennial Greenway begins south of the Piedmont Environmental Center and runs to Gallimore Dairy Road. The Greenway then travels through Greensboro, connecting to the Atlantic & Yadkin Greenway at the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park. The Bicentennial Greenway can be accessed at Piedmont Environmental Center (1220 Penny Road), 4125 Piedmont Parkway, High Point, Gallimore Dairy Road, Greensboro, Jamestown Park (7041 East Fork Road, Jamestown), and Gibson Park (5207 West Wendover Avenue, Jamestown).

  • 311 Bypass to Deep River Road – approximately .5 miles
  • University Park to Penny Road – 1.2 miles
