High Point has so many wonderful opportunities for growth now and I am super excited about the newly formed HPxD and the First Tuesday event. This opens the door to our city for designers and retailers to come shop for their clients and stores year round! Now our guests can enjoy visiting High Point at a time that isn’t bustling with market attendees and can visit our restaurants, theaters, shops, museums and other wonderful amenities we now have.
Mr. Cliff Mann
Our destination and development work with Visit High Point is entering a critical and exciting time, as our city significantly expands its’ number of attractions and amenities. Simultaneously, our world-renowned furniture heritage continues to evolve and strengthen, our university continues to garner national acclaim and our local community becomes more engaged and in-tune with our new growth. We are all pulling together to enrich, invest-in and reshape High Point’s future.

Tourism is a continual source of income for High Point, both for public and private income sources. We can improve so much in this great city by bringing people here to see our culture, sports, history, locally made goods, and of course all that comes from being the Furniture Capital of the World! Tourism also helps High Point create jobs specifically in the hotel industry, hospitality industry, service sector, entertainment, sports, and transportation industry. For all of this to happen, we need to show everyone that High Point is a year-round destination and that they should visit and come to know us better!
Mr. Lee Tillery
