“A creative community seeking to make a positive change.” Cohab Space is a creative workforce nonprofit, located in the historic Melrose Hosiery Mill. Cohab is a resource for the trade, artists, design enthusiasts, and the community. Cohab’s mission revolves around supporting artists, makers, and designers at a range of career stages, from emerging creatives to established practitioners. The mill houses their showroom, art gallery, artist studio spaces, and a wood and metal workshop. Cohab is building a community around creativity. They empower artists, makers, and designers through hands-on mentorship, professional development, and accessible platforms for showcasing and marketing creative work.

Cohab’s showroom and gallery are open Monday–Saturday; their furniture warehouse (located at 111 Hodgin St.) is open by appointment. And everything is open to all!
